PROPOSED RECOMMENDATION

To undertake a procurement exercise for the replacement of a single prefabricated unit with a double prefabricated unit at Great Ouseburn Community Primary School.

BACKGROUND TO SUPPORT THE RECOMMENDATION

The scheme forms part of the Children and Young People’sService Schools Condition Grant.   

The procurement process is programmed to begin in January 2023.The work is programmed to commence on site in July 2023, with completion in September 2023.

LEGAL AND GOVERNANCE COMPLIANCE

This is a key decision.  The proposal to procure was entered on the forward plan in December 2022.

The procurement exercise will be undertaken in accordance with the Council’s Procurement and Contract Procedure Rules and the Public Contracts Regulations 2015

RECOMMENDATION

That the procurement for thereplacement of a single prefabricated classroom unit with a double prefabricated classroom unit at Great Ouseburn Community Primary School be approved.
